존경하는 내외 귀빈 여러분, 그리고 오렌지 카운티 한인 경제를 이끌어 오신 선배
회장님들과 회원 여러분께 깊은 감사의 인사를 드립니다.
오늘 이 뜻깊은 자리에서 미국 오렌지 카운티 한인상공회의소 회장이라는 막중한 소임을 맡게 되어, 개인적인 영광을 넘어 무거운 책임감을 느낍니다.
오렌지 카운티 한인상공회의소는 단순한 경제 단체를 넘어, 한인 사회의 신뢰와 연대를 상징하는 공동체입니다. 선배들께서 쌓아오신 기반 위에서 저는 다음의 3가지 핵심 기치아래 더 넓고 더 단단한 상공회의소를 만들어 가고자 합니다.
첫째, GROWTH:
변화하는 경제 환경 속에서 지속 가능한 성장을 돕는 실질적인 플랫폼이 되겠습니다. AI,친환경 물류, 바이오등 미래성장 산업에 대한 기술교류, 최신트랜드, 중소기업 스케일업 지원, 현장형 인턴쉽, 산학 협동 프로젝트 지원등으로 함께 성장하는 KACCOC가 되도록 노력하겠습니다.
둘째, CONNECTIVITY
업종간, 타 커뮤니티 간, 그리고 글로벌 내트워크 간 연결을 강화하여 시너지를 낼 수 있는 네트워크를 강화하겠습니다. 이를 위해서 타 커뮤니티 상공회의소와 비니니스 MIXER, 산업별 크로스터 모임, 스타트업, 한국의 K-BEAUTY, FOOD등 유망한 기업체및 기관들과 MOU를 통해서 실질적인 회원들 사업증진 및 확장에 도움을 드리도록 하겠숩니다.
셋째, COLABORATION
여러 이해관계자를 품고, 서로의 좋은 역량을 연결하여 협력 함으로 전체가 같이 성장하는 협력 생태계를 구축하도록 노력하겠습니다. 구체적으로 물류 IT, 제조 AI. 유통 친환경등 교차 산업 협업, ESG기반봉사, 취약계층 지원등 책임있는 이웃으로서 커뮤니티와 함께하는 KACCOC로 실질적인 상생 정책을 추진하겠습니다.
이 길은 결코 저 혼자 할 수 있는 일이 아닙니다. 다양한 생각과 목소리를 존중하며, 더 많은 분들을 품을 수 있는 상공회의소가 되도록 열린 마음으로 경청하면서 함께 고민하겠습니다. 오렌지 카운티 한인상공회의소가 신뢰받는 경제 단체로, 다음 세대가 자랑스러워할 공동체로 남을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다.

Message from President
Dear distinguished guests, respected past presidents, and valued members of the Korean American business community in Orange County,
First and foremost, I would like to extend my deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to all of you who have contributed to building and leading the Korean American business community in Orange County.
Today, as I have the great honor of taking on the important responsibility of serving as the President of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, I feel not only a sense of personal honor but also a profound responsibility to serve our community.
The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (KACCOC) is more than just an economic organization. It represents the trust, unity, and shared commitment of the Korean American business community. Building upon the strong foundation established by our past leaders, I am committed to creating a broader, stronger, and more impactful Chamber based on the following three key values:
First, GROWTH
In an ever-changing economic environment, KACCOC will become a practical platform that helps businesses achieve sustainable growth.
Through technology exchanges, industry insights, and support programs focused on future growth industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), sustainable logistics, biotechnology, and emerging technologies, we will help small and medium-sized businesses scale and compete successfully.
We will also work to provide opportunities through hands-on internships, industry-academic partnerships, and practical business support programs, creating an environment where we can grow together as a stronger business community.
Second, CONNECTIVITY
We will strengthen connections among different industries, communities, and global networks to create meaningful collaboration and greater opportunities.
To achieve this goal, KACCOC will actively build partnerships with other chambers of commerce, organize business mixers, industry-focused networking groups, and startup programs, and establish strategic partnerships and MOUs with promising companies and organizations in areas such as K-Beauty, K-Food, technology, and other emerging industries from Korea.
Through these efforts, we aim to provide real value by helping our members expand their businesses, discover new opportunities, and build stronger relationships.
Third, COLLABORATION
We will create a collaborative ecosystem where different stakeholders can share their strengths, work together, and grow collectively.
Specifically, we will promote cross-industry collaboration in areas such as logistics and IT, manufacturing and AI, retail and sustainability, while also strengthening our commitment to the community through ESG-based volunteer programs and support for underserved communities.
As a responsible neighbor and trusted community partner, KACCOC will pursue meaningful initiatives that create shared prosperity and sustainable growth for everyone.
This journey is not something I can accomplish alone.
I will listen with an open mind, respect diverse perspectives and voices, and work together with our members and community leaders to build a Chamber that welcomes more people and represents the interests of our entire business community.
My commitment is to ensure that the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County continues to be a trusted economic organization and a community that future generations can proudly embrace.
I sincerely ask for your wisdom, support, and participation as we move forward together.
